Principal Engineer - Team leader of the FS8 file system migration project. Developed migration utilities to facilitate the in-place conversion of the FMS file system to FS8. New file system supported long filenames, symbolic links, improved backup and restore utilies and superior performance. Member of the File System Products Group. Assisted worldwide customers with file system issues on the Honeywell Bull mainframe. Designed and developed assembly language routines to support OS level system functions. Reviewed, investigated and resolved System Technical Action Requests submitted by customers. Identified problems, examined source code and corrected errors. Documented all changes. Assited the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) with resolution of software errors.


Inter-American Development Bank, Washington, DC (1985 - 1991)

Systems Programmer - Team leader responsible for the integrity, maintenance and operation of the Honeywell DPS8000 mainframe. Staff member of the IBM MVS Operating System Team.
